1040 vs 1040SR

I am 76 why does turbotax use 1040 for me and no 1040SR

1040 and 1040SR are identical except that 1040SR has bigger print. Whey you "preview" your return online it will show 1040, but if you are 65 or older and print your return it will print on 1040SR. The lines and calculations are exactly the same.
