How do I amend the 2024 tax return I just submitted? Where is the 1040-x form in the software?

    If you just filed the 2024 federal tax return, the amend link will not be available until the IRS Accepts the e-filed tax return.

     

    Before starting to amend the tax return, wait for the tax refund to be received or the taxes due to be paid and processed by the IRS.
