I need to issue a 1099. my husband worked for me as an independent contractor. we have not issued a 1099 yet , I need to do this. i skipped it in the beginning and thought i would go back though i cannot find it now. please advice me where to go and what to do

If you click on the link our Expert @BillM223 provided, you will see another link in the help article identified as "Quick Employer Forms" which takes you to the TurboTax service to create 1099s. That is exactly what you asked for. I can add you can log in with your TurboTax log in information and the system will prompt you on creating your 1099-NEC that is needed if you paid your husband more than $600 in 2021.
