Question

1099-B has 1g blank but somehow turbotax desktop version shows amount

Hello, i did import of my RSU transactions from Fidelity which was successful but somehow Turbotax is showing amount in 1g (Washsales disallowed).  The actual 1099-B from fidelity has no amount indicated so not sure how turbotax is calculating.   All sell transactions at vesting are "short term transactions for which basis is not reported to IRS".  I am not sure if I should empty the 1g amount as its blank in the actual 1099-B form. The 1099-B form has all Sell transactions only so not sure how there is a wash sale situation but all sell transactions are within a day or two of vesting.

Are you still experiencing this problem?

There was a previous issue with 1099-B's incorrectly importing with adjustment code N has now been resolved.  Please delete your imported 1099-B, update your TT Desktop software, and then re-import.

Make sure you have ran all updates.
