1099-DIV entry not working - says will import directly from institution and does not give option to type in, but then hangs.

Try again...

BUT

On the page that has you select or enter a bank or Financial provider...........you "dont" ...instead you click on

"Change how I enter my form" at the bottom of that page.

.......and then on the next page you click on

"Type it in myself"

then you are off and running as long as you have a copy of your 1099-DIV.
