My import to Fidelity Investments won't be available until 1-31-2024. Can I in the meantime enter in 1099 information and then later override it with the composite information when the import feature is available

    I did similar while waiting.

    BUT

I entered the 1099-DIV, -INT, -B forms as coming from AAA Test .

That way I know those are the ones I can later just delete them, and they won't get mistaken or confused with the imported forms from Fidelity when they are available.

You can edit anything before you file.

Thanks- so there will be duplicate 1099s and you just delete the old ones after you link to import  the 1099s when that feature is available. Good idea to tag them with another name in the meantime. Have a nice day !!
