im getting above error yet double clicking doesnt do anything

    Have you created a Schedule C business? If not, there isn't a business to connect to Form 1099-MISC. 

     

    Note that you can enter the income from Form 1099-MISC under the Self-Employment topic rather than using the Income from 1099-MISC entry point.
