I'm trying to enter my 1099 NEC form, and the form itself is blank from boxes 2-7; when leaving box 2 Blank on the turbo tax 1099 NEC section, it won't let me file. What do I do if box 2 doesn't apply to me?

Yes delete the 1099NEC and start it over.  But actually you can just enter it as Other self employment income or as Cash or General income.  You don't need to get a 1099NEC or 1099Misc or 1099K.  Even if you did you can enter all your income as Cash.  Only the total goes to schedule C.

Did you put a checkmark in box 2?  Or did you leave it blank from the start?  Did you check anything on Does One of these uncommon situations apply?

You can delete the 1099-NEC form and then re-enter the form.  Do not check the box or do anything on box 2.

    1. On the menu bar on the left that shows.

    1. Select Tax Tools
    2. On the drop-down select Tools
    3. On the Pop-Up menu select Delete a Form
    4. This will give you all of the forms in your return
    5. Scroll down to the form you want to delete
    6. Select the Form
    7. Click on Delete

Always use extreme caution when deleting information from your tax return.  There could be unintended consequences.

Or on the desktop version, switch to forms mode and delete the form
