I have a question on the 1099 NEC.

If it was issued under a social security number that was given to a company and was filed with the IRS for 2024.  But now person wants to change 2024 filing to a Federal ID number for a  business.  New W9 was  just submitted to me this morning in 2025. Do I have to re-file the 1099NEC or can I leave it as is with the information that was given me in 2024?

The IRS knows the SSN and EIN connection. If it is a sole proprietor, they can file using their EIN and include income with their SSN. If it isn't a sole proprietor, it should never have been under SSN.
