Was sent a 1099-R for a 401k roll over. Does this affect my total taxable income?

    No.  Enter the 1099-R in Federal > Wages and Income > Retirement. One of the follow up questions asks about rollovers. The TT Income Summary will list the gross figure, and is only FYI.  Your actual tax return shows both  the gross and taxable (zero) numbers, as well as the word "Rollover."
