1099-R Box 14a Error: NYS withholdings can not be equal to gross distributions
Hello,
I did a 401K rollover to IRA in 2023 and received two 1099-R forms from Fidelity. One of the 1099-R forms has $0 in Box 1, 2a, 14, 16. It has $19 in Box 5.
However, I get an error "Box 14a for electronic filing, New York State and Local withholdings can not be greater than or equal to gross distribution". I tried removing the $0 values in Box 1, 2a, 14, 15, 16 but the error persist. Any advice or fix?
