1099-R Source of Distribution Question for A one time withdrawal

I received a 1099-R form for a  withdrawal from my 401 K.  It was a one-time withdrawal that was not rolled over to another retirement account.  The distribution was used for other purposes and not for disaster purposes.  Also it was not an early withdrawal.   To answer the question, source of distribution, which option to I pick?  Should the selected response be: "The general rule pension or 401-K benefits" or "Other"?

Thanks in advance for your help!

I don't know if I understand your problem but if the withdrawal was from a 401kl account then the answer would be from a 401k benefit. If this was not an early withdrawal then there would be no penalty but you would still pay taxes on the withdrawal.

What code is in box 7 on the 1099R?   Try deleting the 1099R and enter it again manually, sometimes the import is wrong.   Does it ask you what you did with it?  Pick I did something else.  I’ve never seen that question.
