I received a 1099B from Block Inc -Square Ink. The only information on the form is box 1d and in 1a it says, "See Broker Statement". I have no broker statement and I don't know who the broker is. Does anyone know exactly who to call?

The broker would be the company listed in the payor's name box, Block Inc - Square Ink it appears in this case. Maybe you can research their name on the internet to get a phone number so you call and get more information.

I discovered that Cash App is the broker and not Block Inc - Square Ink. Block Inc - Square Ink owns cash app. To find relevant data to 1099B one has to have the app and be signed in to the account. It's tough to navigate. I still haven't sorted it out. You would think that such an organization would have a "taxes" button on the homepage that would show all the 1099B information for your account but they don't.

Yes, you will need more info to enter your 1099-B for an investment sale in TurboTax.  'Date Acquired' can be 'Various', like for stock purchased at different times.  Most important is your Cost Basis, for determining any Gain/Loss.

Here's more info on How to Enter 1099-B
