Last year we filed our taxes but apparently did not send them electronically, not sure how that happened. this year we filed and our return was rejected because we hadn't sent last years taxes and therefore we couldn't verify to the IRS our AGI. what should we do now ,to send last years tax return, so we can send this years tax return and have it accepted

If you didn't file a 2019 tax return with the IRS, just tell us you didn’t file last year when we ask you. But if you’ve already entered a number for your AGI, manually enter 0 instead.
