What forms and documentation do I need to send to the IRS for my 2019 tax return?  I printed the return to mail.  What else do I need to send in?

If you used TurboTax, at the end of your return, on the page where it asks if you want to e-file or mail your return, at the top of the page, it gives you options on what to print.  The top option is (I think) print the records you're filing and the supporting docs  (there's another one that says print return and all supporting docs). If you click the top one for filing, it will print (or e-file) the appropriate pages will be filed (just make sure it doesn't say ALL supporting data).

In addition to the forms, make sure you attach all withholding forms (i.e. W2, 1099, etc).  The tax authorities may adjust your return if the withholding documents are not attached.  If you owe money, you may want to also include a copy of your extension form.

When you mail a tax return, you need to attach any documents showing tax withheld, such as your W-2’s or any 1099’s.  Use a mailing service that will track it, such as UPS or certified mail so you will know the IRS/state received the return.

Federal and state returns go to separate addresses in separate envelopes.
