I started receiving unemployment in 2021. How will this affect my taxes, I believe they are with holding only 10%.  Will I get a "W2" of sorts stating my 2021 unemployment income?

Your state will send you a Form 1099-G for the unemployment compensation you received in 2021.  The form is usually mailed to you in either January or February.  Although some states will have the Form 1099-G available on the state unemployment department website.

You report the unemployment compensation received and any taxes withheld on your 2021 tax return filed in 2022.
