2021 Taxes

My CPA did my 2021 taxes, as he did for the last few years. For 2022 I intend using Turbo Tax and decided to purchase Turbo Tax 2021 (Federal and NY State). I did this for two reasons:

1. I had (have) a $1,109 NY State tax refund which has NOT YET been provided to me. I supplied whatever information NY State requested of me but have not heard from them since they got my reply on July 27, 2022.

2. In looking over my NY State taxes to try and figure out if anything was done incorrectly I realized I had a few errors.

I therefore attempted to enter my 2021 Federal Income taxes and my NY State 2021 taxes, to discover a number of differences. I therefore want to pay someone to review all my 2021 taxes and correct anything that has already been reported incorrectly and/or changes which appear to require updates.

Review of a past return is not a service provided by TurboTax, so no, you cannot get a TurboTax expert to look over the 2021 return prepared for you by a CPA last year. If you think something was done incorrectly then get that CPA to review it or take to another local paid tax pro.
