Hi -  My 2022 desktop Turbo Tax Deluxe is using a Married Filing Jointly St Ded of $27,300 - according to the Tax Summary Report .   I believe the correct 2022 value is $25,900, and $27,300 is the 2023 tax year value.

You get a larger standard deduction if you are 65 or older or blind. If one of you, either you or your spouse, is 65 or older or blind, $27,300 is the correct standard deduction for 2022.

    MFJ Standard Deduction of $25,900

Plus additional deduction of $1,400 for 65 or older, or blind, per person, per event

    Equals  $27,300

Does your tax return qualify for the additional deduction?

See IRS 1040 Instructions page 9
