2023 Taxes Transferred but NOT Showing in 2024 Premier

I recently purchased TurboTax Premier after debating a move to H & R Block.  I have used TT for years, and this year's pricing nearly made me switch, but I decided to stick with a sure thing, in the end.

When beginning, I uploaded last year's 2023 tax files.  Doing so usually pre-populates many fields and does numerous calculations, saving much time.  But this year the program is requiring me to add everything manually.  It also is asking for things from last year's taxes that I must manually look up and enter when, in the past, it has simply taken these details itself and given me the answer.  I am fairly sure that, while the program said it downloaded the file and that the transfer was successful and complete, it is not properly working with last year's tax files.

Any suggestions/solutions?
