2024 Estimate Taxes Already Paid

Are you unable to find evidence of your payments in your online banking account, or on your bank statements, credit card statements or in your online credit card account, or however you paid?

Do you have an IRS online account at the IRS website?  If so, you can get the information immediately.  Payments are listed in one's IRS online account under a payment history, which shows payments by date and what kind of payment was made.  It also shows the tax year the payment was applied to, so you have to be careful when looking at the payment history as to the correct tax year.

Payments and dates should also be outlined on a 2024 Tax Account Transcript, which like the above can be obtained immediately through one's online IRS account, but which can also be ordered by mail, which takes 5-10 calendar days.
