2024 state efile charge

I have only one state tax file, my understanding is that the state tax efile would be $20 if filed before March 1 2025. However' to complete the process the charge was $25 and I've requested that both my federal and state tax to be processed February 17 2025 . This has indications of a bait and switch tactic for Turbotax customers. I will wait to see which charge will be on me credit card in March.

It seems to have changed this year. $20 is now for the Advantage auto re new plan and the regular fee is $25. We don’t know if the state efile fee will increase on March 1.

By the way, how did you request to file on Feb 17? You have to file it yourself by going all the way to the end and hitting the big Transmit Returns Now button. Your credit card will be charged immediately when you enter the credit card number.
