KEEP GETTING ASKED TO ENTER BUSINESS CODES ETC. FOR STRAIGHT UP 1099-MISC FOR AWARD AND SUBSTITUTE PAYMENTS IN LIEU OF DIVDENDS OR INTEREST. NOT SURE HOW TO FIX IT SO IT ACCEPTS THE 1099S WITHOUT ERRORS.
If the 1099-MISC is not reporting Self-Employment income, please follow the steps below.
Enter the 1099-MISC as it was reported, Type "Award" or whatever the payment was for in the description box,
Select "None of these apply" for uncommon situations,
"NO" not like main job,
only got it in 2024,
"NO" no intent to earn money,
DONE
