Question

5 count for E-file

How can I see how many e-files have been executed on my account?  I don't see a place to find how many have been completed and how many are left.   I know you can manually go back and do recounts but I am wondering if there is a way to see it either on the PC Program or your Intuit account; and if so where.   For both Mac and Windows?

I believe the 5 count it tied to the PC the program it is loaded on (tied to an Intuit account) or the email address used for e-file (guessing not this as you could use multiple emails).

Thank you!

No, the e-file count is not tied to the PC, but is tied to the license code. You can prepare and print or e-file up to 5 of your own federal and state tax returns with TurboTax Desktop. You’ll still be able to install the software on up to 5 computers owned by you (at home or at work).

To see how many returns have been e-filed, look for the status of each file on the first page of TurboTax Desktop in the "Continue Your 2024 Tax Return" section. The status will either say: E-filed, Printed, or Not Printed or E-filed.

How do I get started with TurboTax Desktop?
