About 1099-MISC

I have made less than $6000 and I have the form 1099 MISC and I am independent. I only did this job for 4-5 month, do I still need to file my tax??

Yes, you are required to file a Schedule C reporting self-employment income if your net earnings from self-employment exceeded $400.
