This is my first time using TurboTax. I clicked the free option just to see how much I could get back but I never submitted it. Then I get an email saying that it got accepted ?? I went into the app to clear this because I already am filing taxes with another tax expert. I just want to make sure I can cancel this because I never went through with doing it through TurboTax.

To verify the status of your return, please log back into the account that you used to see how much you might get back. If you never proceeded to the "Submit my return" step, it should show as still in progress.

However, if you see inside of this account that your return status shows as "Accepted" then it means that your return was transmitted to the IRS and that cannot be canceled. If it wasn't correct, it can be amended after it is fully processed.
