Account number is backwards
Two numbers of my account number is backward and my refund was sent what do I do
If it is accepted it is too late to change it. If the account is incorrect. The bank will reject the refund and send it back to the IRS. Then the IRS will issue a paper check and mail it to the address you put on your tax return.
Here is the IRS number in case you want to call them and see if they can change it.
