ADOBE CREATIVE CLOUD FOR FREELANCE ARTIST

As a freelance artist I was wondering about making an amendment to include possible write offs for my Adobe Creative Cloud bills. I am reluctant because I have already amended once due to an error I made with my 1099. If not this year, maybe next because it will be an expense of over $750 next year. Any suggestions or advice?

Thank you.

Yes.  Claim the deduction as a business expense, definitely for 2024 and going forward.  For your 2023 returns, I recommend waiting some time before amending again.  Allow the original and first amendment to completely process; perhaps as late as or after October 15th (the extended deadline).

You have up to three years after the filing due date to complete an amendment claiming a refund.
