Question

After I finish my federal return, I need Hawaii state tax return, I remember I saw the cost was 39.99, but when I paid with credit card, it showed 44.99. why?

also, the e-file showed the cost of 19.99 but the amount when I paid become 24.99?

    The discounted TurboTax prices expired after 02/28/19.  The state programs used with the desktop editions are currently $44.99 and the state e-file charge is $24.99.  The e-file charge could be avoided by printing and mailing the state tax return.
