AGI in turbotax does not match one in IRS. Which one does Turbotax take to check before efile. IRS number(correct) or Previous Turbotax number (incorrect)?

Use the AGI provided by the IRS. That is the number the IRS are looking for. If the TurboTax number is incorrect because your return was adjusted, your e-file will be rejected.

 

Prior year AGI is an IRS security check to help stop criminals from filing fraudulent tax returns.
