The IRS uses your prior year AGI for identification to help deter fraudulent returns.  You can find your prior year AGI on your 2019 form 1040 on line 8b.  If you are having trouble locating/accessing your 2019 return you can request a transcript from the IRS using this link.

 

If you used TurboTax to complete your 2019 return, you are able to print/download a prior year return in your TurboTax account.
