Alimony - I entered what was paid to me, why is not showing up as income earned this year?

    When was the divorce finalized?   You only enter alimony for a divorce that became final before December 31 2018.   

     

    Enter in Federal>Wages & Income>Less Common Income>Alimony Received 

     

    It goes on Schedule 1, line 2a, and ends up on line 8 of your Form 1040
