Already filed State return using State efile.Just filled out TurboTax Fed'l using Free version.Not letting me delete state because I seem to have "registered".How delete?

You can't delete a state return that has been registered (in Free Edition) or paid for (in a paid edition). But you are not required to file it. If you are in Free Edition, it doesn't charge you for it.

You should be able to choose to efile only the Federal return. If it makes you choose something for the state, then indicate you're going to file the state return later or that you plan to mail it, then don't do it, obviously since you already filed the state return elsewhere.

On the left menu of My Info, Fed'l, State, Review, File: do I click on File? You're sure I'll have an option there and won't be committed to efiling both. What makes it worse is that TurboTax's refund differs (actually a little less) than what the state itself says I'm due.
