The following are requirements for filing Form 1040 EZ.  Forms 1095 B and 1095 C are for information purposes only. They aren't entered in your return.

  1. Your taxable income must be less than $100,000.
  2. You do not have any dependents
  3. You file "Single" or "Married Filing Joint

The only types of income you can list on the 1040EZ form is wages, salaried, tips, taxable interest of $1500 or less, and unemployment compensation, and Alaska permanent fund dividends.

The only credits or payments you can claim on the return are the Earned Income Credit (EIC) for individuals without children, employer withholding, or estimated tax payments that you made.
