Amended Standard Free Filing Charging me a fee?
Completed all my taxes and realized I needed to amend for my 1099R. I see it says $0 for federal and state and nothing due. When I go to check out it asks for my credit card. Doesn’t even show that I can use my refund for checkout. The total is $48, why? It says it’s free to amend and it’s the free version. It says the “standard version” is $29 and the “state” is $19. Where did this come from and why do I HAVE to pay with a credit card only?
