Amended Tax Return: Tax Liability
Hi, I had to amend my 2022 tax return and have income taxes due. I cannot afford to pay the full amount at this time. What are my options for payment to the IRS? Thank you in advance.
You can set up a payment at any time.
However, for the amended return, it would probably be better to wait until the status of the return shows as being Received on the IRS website - https://www.irs.gov/filing/wheres-my-amended-return
