Question

Any way to remove the add. charge of $40 to pay TurboTax with your tax refund? I saw no notice upfront of this charge and want to pay with a debit card instead.

I do not think it is fair to charge this without clear notice of this fairly significant charge. They clearly know you cannot start a chargeback on a refund, and this feels abusive of their power.

Have you filed yet?  If not you can change that.  It should have been shown before you filed.  You had to agree to it.  

if you haven’t filed yet….Remove Pay with Refund fee
