Anyone know why TurboTax keeps delaying form 8283? It looks like it's available on the IRS website.

After the IRS makes a form available, it is sent to TurboTax programmers to be added to TurboTax.  That involves changing the program, testing the next code, and making sure everything works properly.  Then the IRS tests the changes and approves them for TurboTax to use.  It takes time for the form changes to be available to TurboTax.

When will form 8283 be ready for us to file?

Form 8283 for Non-Cash Charitable Donations is available for Efile.  There have been some changes to the form that may be affecting you.

If you break down your donations into entries less than $500, and have no more than 5K total, this should resolve your issue.
