If you are getting EIC it is already included in your refund --- Earned Income Credit is shown on line 27 of your Form 1040.  If you qualified for EIC it was automatically added to your tax form.   It is not sent as a separate payment to you--it is part of the refund you see on line 35a.

Oh--your question asked about the earned income credit.  Were you really trying to ask about the child tax credit?  That has not passed.   It is in the Senate.    IF it passes then it would still have to be signed into law and implemented by the IRS.  You do not need to start watching for a check at this time.
