In 2022 I married a Canadian citizen with no financial connections to the US, no US income and no SSN or ITIN. She does have Canadian income. Can I file my AZ taxes as married filing separate and how do I handle her signature and SSN on the form. I plan to file federal as MFS and mail the form with "Non Resident Alien" printed in the SSN box.

    Tunono,

I suggest calling or chatting with a live person at the AZ Dor.  Chat option is at  AZ Taxes Home Page and phone numbers are listed via the Help button at the top of that page.

Also look at IRS Publication 519 for how to include/exclude nonresident alien income in community property states such as AZ or CA.
