Do I have to claim interest, ?If I received back child support

    Yes, if you received interest income you would claim it on your tax return.  The child support itself is not taxable income, but interest would be.  The interest income would be entered as if it were reported on Form 1099-INT.  

     

    Search for 'interest income' to jump to the appropriate section of your return to report it.
