Box 15 is empty on my W2, which prevents me from e-filing

I used to live in a state where there was no state tax.

now Box 15 is empty on my W2, which prevents me from e-filing. I live abroad, and I am not sure what I can do.

    Leave all those boxes BLANK.

    Several  states do not have a state income tax.  So these states will not show up in certain drop down lists.   Leave boxes 15, 16, and 17 blank when you enter a W-2 for these states.

     

    Alaska, Florida, Nevada, South Dakota, Tennessee, Texas, Washington and Wyoming

    but it is preventing me from e-filing since they are empty...
