[BUG] Unable to fill "Unemployment / paid family leave (1099-G)" because I hit back when incorrectly told to upgrade (I have no unemployment income). No tech support?

I can't get a person on call or in live chat because I didn't pay, even though this is a tech support problem and not a tax advice issue. whenever I click "Start" and say that I didn't have any income from unemployment or family leave and hit continue, it just brings me back to "Wages

Try deleting the Form 1099-G for unemployment

 

Click on Tax Tools on the left side of the online program screen

Click on Tools

Click on Delete a form

There is no Form 1099-G in my documents to delete 😕😕 Any other fixes?

Clear your return and start over.  When done make sure that you indicate that your did NOT receive unemployment income.

 

If you have not paid for the online edition you are using, have not filed your tax return or registered the Free edition, then you can clear your return and start over.  Click on Tax Tools on the left side of the program screen while working on the 2021 online tax return.  Click on Clear & Start Over.
