CA EITC

it looks like CA has a limit on investment income of $4674 to be eligible for EIC.  I finally got into a worksheet and it stops me at the investment income section.  AGI is $18547 made up of Earned income $10162 and Additional income (from Schedule 1 $8385 rental income) called investment income.  This investment income appears to be capped, therefore not eligible for CA EITC.

This is the only thing that I'm finding, sounds right?
