I am a CA resident (in 2020 and still now in 2021); however I worked remotely for 30 days in Florida in 2020. Does Turbotax calculate a percentage (30/365) to omit from the California income tax assessment?  Florida does NOT have income tax. The "Other State Income" under "Personal Info" has Florida identified.... but Turbotax did not ask for the number of days I had Florida-based income.

Since you are a California resident, California taxes all of your income no matter where you made it.  If you work in another state that has an income tax, then California will give you a credit for tax you pay to that state.  However, since Florida has no tax you still must pay the tax to California.

like the US, states tax their residents on worldwide income. so that income you earned in FL while being a resident of CA is taxable in CA.
