California state income tax won't work with my turbo tax (deluxe)

I bought the CD turbo tax Deluxe at Staples. I am done for federal tax without any issue, but I can not load California state to continue my work. I did try many times, but this turbo tax covers Federal return, Federal e-file, State return. My computer has Windows 10. Please help me out ASAP

If you bought the Deluxe CD that says state return it should download the state program. Or did you already download a different state for the free state?

First try updating the federal program. Go up to Online-Check for Updates. Could it be this error? State looping
