Question

Can I cancel my return? My wife and I filed jointly but I did not receive my stimulus so I submitted a separately to see if I could get my stimulus but it rejects mine.

Once a tax return has been e-filed it cannot be canceled, retrieved or changed.

 

There is no reason to amend your tax return.  If you are eligible then you will receive the stimulus payment.  When is not known since only the IRS has that information.
