Can i change a PDF file to Txt file for W2 filing online with Social Security

What?   What exactly are you trying to do?   You do not enter a Social Security SSA1099 as a W-2.  And you have to key in a SSA1099 by hand.  It cannot be imported.

 

Do not try to enter your SSA1099  or RR1099RB as a W-2.  Go to Federal> Wages & Income>>Retirement Plans and Social Security  (SSA1099 and 1099RRB) to enter your SSA1099.

What?  Can you explain more what you want to do?  What pdf do you have?  What do you need a Txt file for?

No ... what are you trying to do?  Are you trying to file W-2/W-3 to the SS administration?  Are you using the Quick Employer's Forms tool in the TT program?   Are you trying to file online using the SS tool here : https://www.ssa.gov/employer/W2checklist.htm
