Question

Can I change a return before I mailed it that is ready to mail. Using turbo tax premiere.

I need to remove a dependent that had claimed that they could not be claimed as a dependent. I dont want to have to mail the return and then send an amendment.

Please see these instructions to open a return back up that wasn't filed:

  1. In TurboTax Online, sign into your account.
  2. Select Tax Home in the left menu.
  3. Scroll down to Your tax returns & documents.
  4. Select Add a State (you're not actually adding a state, this opens the return back up)
