Can I change it so the code is sent to my phone instead? My code is only being emailed after the window times out and logs me out, thus making my code invalid.

Every time I request a code, it only sends the code to my email when the window times out and I get logged out of that browser window. When this happens, the code that "has" been sent to me is thus expired. So then I have to log in and get a new code, but the same problem repeats and my code is always invalid. If I request a new code, I get the two codes when the window logs me out instead of getting one while the window is open and I am logged in.

You will need to add your phone number to your account and enable two-step verification.  Here are the steps:

You can receive text updates by adding your phone number to your personal profile in TurboTax.

Please follow these instructions:

·         Login to TurboTax and select Intuit Account (left navigation panel at bottom) (DO NOT select Take me to my return)

·         In Account Settings, select SECURITY (under PROFILE) (left side of screen)

In SECURITY, you can add or edit your information including your phone number.

Make sure you Turn on Two-step verification and verify your phone number with text message.

I'm on the final step for finalizing my taxes, and I have the Two-step verification on, but it still will not send me a text with my code. It says it has to verify my email, and thus this problem keeps repeating itself. It texts me my code when I go to my account settings and such, but this step will only let me enter a code from my email it seems and it is not emailing me my code.
