Can I change the method of paying my state tax owed?

I initially requested to have the to have the state take my payment through my checking account but I would like to change the method of payment. I see I can make payment directly through the state dept of revenue but want to make sure that will void the payment through checking I originally set up in turbotax.

Once filled you can’t change the method of payment through TurboTax. Contact your state to learn whether you can do it there.

If you have not filed the 2023 tax return and want to change your method of payment you can do so in the File section of the program. If you are going to use the state website for the payment, then in TurboTax select that you will mail a check for the taxes owed. E-file your tax return but do Not mail a check. Make your payment on the state website.

If you have filed the 2023 tax return then the method of payment cannot be changed.
